Vision

Our vision is to create a community of conscious, ethical, and responsible gun owners to be their own first-responders, so they can protect themselves, their families, and their communities.

By raising awareness of the undisputable need for continuous training, we hope to help firearm owners in our community gain efficiency, marksmanship, and situational awareness. This will improve their ability to protect their lives or loved ones.

“Well, in the first place, an armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life."
-- Robert Heinlein, Beyond This Horizon

Mission

To create a community of individuals with shared interests in firearm safety, marksmanship, self-defense, legal aspects, and the Second Amendment.

We aim to accomplish our goal by fostering open discussions on firearm-related topics, analyzing self-defense scenarios, engaging in targeted practice and training, and spending time at the shooting range.

Values

Lethal Force Is Always Last Resource

As Christians, we firmly believe that all life is valuable, regardless of the person's past actions, even if they are criminals. However, our lives and our families are also important. Therefore, we should always try to de-escalate a situation before resorting to lethal force. It is essential to remain calm and composed in any argument or situation and avoid using lethal force unless it is the only option left to protect oneself from a life-threatening situation.

Avoidance Is Always The Best Policy

Prioritizing avoidance is crucial. Our top priorities are situational awareness and effective security practices. The best way to avoid conflict and danger is to not be in the middle of a dangerous situation. Unless your life, family, or others are in direct danger, avoidance should always be the first resource. Your safety is paramount. Get out of danger as soon as possible.

Life is Always More Precious Than Stuff

In most states, lethal force is not allowed to protect property. But even if it were, it is not worth taking someone's life over property. As frustrating as it is to have something you worked hard for taken away from you, it is never OK to take a life to keep your stuff. Just because something is legal, does not make it moral. God will provide.

Training Is Always Necessary And Our Duty

Being a firearm owner is a big responsibility. Our constitution protects our right to protect our life and our country by ratification that "the people have the right to keep and bear arms". It does not give us the right but acknowledges it is a natural right. But the responsibility is solely ours. Training and practicing for proficiency are not optional. If you do not pursue firearm proficiency, you are irresponsible and a liability to yourself and others. Maintain proficiency and marksmanship by training continuously and progressively.
